Ian Carter

Ian graduated from the Queensland Institute of Technology in 1972 having attained a Diploma in Architecture, and registered with the Board of Architects of Queensland in 1973.

Became a member of the Australian Institute of Architects in 1985.

Early career involved in the design of low cost housing with the Queensland Government, and later, in the private sector, in the design and implementation of demountable low cost building systems.

Extensive experience in the design of a diverse range of projects, predominantly in the commercial and industrial fields with a solid understanding of industrial manufacturing & warehousing systems.

Design philosophy—
A dedication to the design of meaningful and sustainable architecture, based on a set of fundamental design principles acquired over many years of involvement in the profession.

David Hood

David Hood

David has been amongst the building industry since 1996, working closely between the architecture and construction realms.
Graduating with a bachelor of Architecture from Queensland University of Technology in 2005.

Registered with the Board of Architects Queensland and NSW in 2008.

Experienced over a range of projects types being, residential low, medium and high rise design, mixed use developments, industrial, commercial and recreational facilities.

Has a passion not only for architecture and the associated building design industry but also for design across all fields and walks of life, through industrial design, fashion design, graphic design, marketing, arts and the creative philosophies that formulate them.

Design philosophy—
Good architectural design through the delivery of solid sound design principles—reinforcing the quality and conditions of the product.
Design to have a conscious responsibility not only to the clientele and end user but also the community and to the environment, crafting sensory enriched spaces in and amongst the urban fabric, to nurture, support and develop life.

Martin Hood

Since Graduating from a Bachelor of Applied Science at the Queensland University of Technology in 1995, further study was pursued in Project Management and Property Economics graduating in 2002. Running various projects ranging from Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Recreational and Public Utilities through a variety of project delivery methods.

Design philosophy—
Project Management is an Art, and good quality project management should deliver the project on time, on Budget and to a high quality finish, it should also take into consideration the on going lifecycle of the built environment in which the project and the people co exist.

Gregg Rosman

Gregg.

Gregg graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2009, with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture.  As his interest and passion for design expanded so did his study.  Gregg took Architecture as a second major and gained an insight to the wider design field.

Within a short time, he has gained experience working on and observing a variety of projects such as; residential design, mixed use development and community aquatic facilities.

Design Philosophy –

To create sustainable and functional spaces that will be rich in meaning and purpose, whilst meeting the client or community requirements.  Overall, produce an end product that is of a high quality, both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally appropriate to the surrounding context and conditions.
